Sry man I live in EU... not worth it. Though I have again a question about the R28, mine arrives tomorrow and I am scared about the gain, with all the power it has, I am scared that I wont be able to adjust the headphone volume properly... My headphone is Arya stealth (32 impedance and 94 sensitivity headphone) any thoughts?

I had Meze neo which is more sensitive and lower impedance than yours, had no issue using it on the amp.

On mine I’ve listened to everything from sensitive IEMs to hard to drive dynamics to planars like HE1000s and have had zero issues

One of the most amazing things to me about audio gd is that there can be such huge amounts of power in a class A amp and be able to use IEMs with super close to zero background hiss on balanced
Thanks. It arrived a few hours ago and I am very happy. Did you notice an effective "burn in" time? Also any sound difference between balanced and single ended headphone out? I've ordered a balanced câble but right now I am single ended

Yes to both. Absolutely yes to both. It did sound better once broken in. Much better. I just let it run for like 2 weeks straight. The difference between balanced and single ended was not that it was better, just different.

then I'll go for it haha.. what did you noticed as an improvement after burn in done ? And about the Balanced out what would have been the diferences with unbalanced? Cheeeeeeeeeeerss

I’ll preface this by saying what I heard is totally subjective to my experience. So don’t base your experience only on mine. Expect to have your own.

For the burn in the sound seemed to open up much more. There’s was better separation. The bass was more clear and defined and the highs were easier to pick out. It was like all the sounds settled into place after the burn it. It was a bit more jumbled before still wonderful but definitely better after a good 300ish hours of burn in in my system.

The great thing about audio gd is that single ended was not just an afterthought. The single ended circuit sounds great, a bit smoother, less separated, less clear, but not a lot less. Not like you’re missing anything at all. To me it’s like two amazing versions of great sound. The balanced being more sharp, more clear, better defines, better separation. Both have the wonderful audio gd sound. I like them both so much that there are some headphone I have that I like way more on balanced and there are some headphones I have that I like way more on single ended. Same with IEMs.

I no not at all think balanced is necessary for the best sound. I left that maddening train years ago.
