Nakamichi SP-7 as parts for $45shipped Paypal
Drivers were liberated for Grado enclosure transplant. More info and relationship to HP1000 here:

Drivers cant be reinstalled into original enclosure without some jerry rigging because driver sleeve had to be slightly modified to fit Grado cups and so now are missing the prongs that connected drivers to Nakamichi enclosure. I imagine these prongs could be substituted and rebuilt with a little inventiveness… (i would try drilling some screws into sleeve then cut off the heads)
Or just buy for the drivers and do your own Grado HP-1000 cousin like I did. Easy because no soldering and friction fitted. See link above for my thoughts on the sound.
